Geriatric Rehabilitation

Beaumont is dedicated to the specialized rehabilitation of our geriatric clients throughout their entire journey from hospitalization to returning to active community involvement. Our goal is not to merely help you or your loved one recover from their current ailment, surgery or injury – but to return our clients to a level of healthy independence that prevents further hospitalization.

The geriatric team at Beaumont features a diverse group of specially trained physicians, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech language pathologists and nurses all focused on meeting the needs of you or your loved one at any point in their journey to wellness. Through close collaboration with the entire health care team, our geriatric specialists will provided a comprehensive assessment and treatment plan geared towards restoring function and returning our clients to active community members.

Treatments and interventions will consist of individualized regimens of exercise, activity and education tailored specifically to each patient's unique lifestyle and needs at home.
