Corewell Health is the new name for Beaumont.

Treating Advanced Heart Valve and Structural Heart Disease

Beaumont’s structural heart and heart valve program offers the most advanced approaches for treating structural heart disorders. Our multidisciplinary team is committed to evaluating patients with complex structural heart disease and high-risk patients with valvular disease, and developing individualized treatment plans to ensure the best outcome for you.

Unlike coronary artery disease, structural heart disease doesn’t typically affect the blood vessels that supply the heart muscle with blood and oxygen. Rather, structural cardiac defects may be present at birth (congenital) or form later in life as a result of infection, wear and tear from aging, or underlying disease processes.

Beaumont’s heart team is pioneering innovative research and developing the latest techniques for patients to receive the safest and most effective treatments.
