The Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital Max & Debra Ernst Heart Center is dedicated to consolidating cardiac care, particularly for patients with heart failure, into
a convenient and comprehensive cardiology clinic. The center, which was created through a $5 million gift from Max and Debra Ernst,
is conveniently located at Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak near the East Entrance.
In 2009, the couple also gave $3 million to open the Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital Ernst Cardiovascular Center in Memory of Ellen Ernst.
The 14,000-square-foot center combines outpatient heart services into one dedicated space and helps patients better manage conditions and reduce emergency center visits and hospital readmissions.

The Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital Max & Debra Ernst Heart Center features
two state-of-the-art treatment rooms, where patients at risk for decompensated heart failure can be referred for evaluation and, if needed, receive medication in the outpatient setting. Treatment is provided under the supervision of physicians, advanced
practice providers and nurses specializing in heart failure care.
