The Pediatric Outpatient Clinic at Beaumont Children’s provides comprehensive, high-quality health care from birth to age 18. The clinic accommodates approximately 18,000 visits each year. Clinic staff includes board-certified pediatricians,
nurses with pediatric education and experience, and subspecialists who are available for consultation. Emergency care is available through on-site access to a Level I emergency department and trauma center.
Well-child care and immunizations promote optimal physical and emotional growth and development. Families benefit from child-focused care and anticipatory guidance, whether children are seen for routine health maintenance care, or complex or, chronic
diseases, or acute illnesses and injuries. Same-day care can be arranged. All patients receive the highest quality of care, regardless of ability to pay.
The clinic has been recognized for outstanding achievements in childhood immunization, chosen as a pilot site for the Michigan Care Improvement Registry, and designated as a Cleft Lip/Palate/Facial Multidisciplinary Specialty Clinic by the Michigan
Department of Community Health. At all health maintenance visits from 6 months to 5 years of age, children receive a book through the Reach Out and Read program. A Legal Aid Partnership for Children program was recently implemented.
