At Beaumont's Center for Children’s Rehabilitation, more than 60 specialized therapists collaborate with patient’s families to develop optimal and customized treatment plans for children facing a range of functional challenges all to enable them to enjoy their childhood.

For decades, throughout the communities of southeast Michigan, our specialists have facilitated the development and independence of children from birth through the teenage years. Our patient’s families state they would recommend our services to their friends and family.

From the beginning of a child’s treatment, parents and caregivers are an important part of the Beaumont Children's therapy program. Parental involvement starts with observation of the child's evaluation by a specialized Beaumont Children's therapist. All members of the Center for Children's Rehabilitation team provide hands-on therapeutic intervention for any identified problem areas, home exercise programs, family and patient education, and assistance with any equipment needs. Pediatric Rehabilitation Group Programs

We offer a variety of group programs to our patients and their families year round. Our groups offer a medically based program, facilitated by experienced therapists  and trained volunteers.

The Variety Myoelectric Center

The Variety Myoelectric Center is based in Royal Oak, Michigan at Beaumont Children's. The Center works with children and adolescents with upper extremity amputations and deficiencies and their families to provide evaluation, recommendation and assistance in obtaining a myoelectric prosthesis.
