myBeaumontChart: Two-factor authentication

Two-factor authentication Instructions

To protect the safety of your health information, myBeaumontChart now requires two-factor authentication to access your account.

What is Two-Factor Authentication?

Two-Factor Authentication is a verification method that requires users to provide two different validation factors to gain access to an account. This is an extra layer of security used to verify the identity of the person accessing the account.

What you need to do

Please make sure your contact information in myBeaumontChart is current (two-factor authentication relies on emailing or texting a verification code to your preferred contact method, so having the most up to date information is essential.)

How does it work?

The first time you log in to myBeaumontChart, you’ll receive a six-character code via email or text message. Enter this code to access your health information. The code will be valid for 30 minutes

Do not leave the myBeaumontChart webpage once you have logged in and are waiting for the login code.

  • On a desktop or laptop, we recommend using a different browser tab to login if you are accessing your email in the same web browser as your myBeaumontChart
    • to open a new tab on your browser, click the "+" symbol to the right of the open tab on the top of your browser
  • On a mobile device, we recommend keeping both your email and web browser/MyChart app open when switching between options

*Closing the myBeaumontChart app or myBeaumontChart website tab when navigating to another page will cause you to log out of myBeaumontChart and will require you to get a new login code.
