Summer is almost here, and so are Beaumont’s many golf outings. These events are great ways for golfers and non-golfers alike to support the care happening every day at Beaumont.
On June 3, the Beaumont Drive for Life Invitational and Card Tournament will be held at the Oakland Hills Country Club. The invitational will benefit the Walter and Marilyn Wolpin Comprehensive Breast Care Center at Beaumont, Royal Oak, and the Wilson Cancer Resource Center at Beaumont, Troy. The Wolpin Center offers screening, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up while the Wilson Center provides guidance and resources to patients for every aspect of their cancer journey, from diagnosis through survivorship.
On June 10, the Women’s Health Care Classic will be held at the Dearborn Country Club & TPC Michigan. Benefitting breast care centers in Dearborn, Trenton, and Wayne, the classic will feature a women’s only tournament, a co-ed tournament, breakfast, lunch, cocktails, a strolling dinner and awards program. Beaumont’s breast care centers offer patients state-of-the-art breast screening and treatment in comfortable settings close to home.
On June 24, the Grosse Pointe Golf Classic and Card Classic will be held at the Country Club of Detroit. Funds raised will support the renovation and expansion of the hospital’s surgical center as well as the breast care center at Beaumont, Grosse Pointe. Attendees will enjoy breakfast, lunch, cocktails, a strolling dinner, gifts and prizes.
On July 29th the Beaumont Children’s Miracle Classic will be held at the Detroit Golf Club. One of Beaumont’s longest-running golf outings, this event supports Beaumont Children’s and Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. The classic will include cocktails, a strolling dinner, and a short program featuring a Children’s Miracle Network Family. Funds raised will help ensure children have access to the most advanced care, resources for overall wellness during their stay, and the financial support they need for their treatment.
