Beaumont Medical Center, Canton hosts 1st ‘Family Safety Awareness Day’ Sept. 22
Even though Canton Township consistently ranks as one of America’s safest cities, accidents and injuries can, and do, happen. That’s why Beaumont Medical Center, Canton, 7300 N. Canton Center Road, is hosting its first “Family Safety Awareness Day” from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 22. The event is free and everyone is welcome.
At this family-friendly event, you and your kids can learn how to prevent harm as well as take part in these activities:
- ambulance tour
- child identification kits
- ·obstacle course
- gun safety
- free pizza, ice cream and snacks
While supplies last, get a free bicycle helmet from noon to 3 p.m. when you complete the safety stations, which also enters you in the free bike contest.
Also, stop by to meet members of the police and fire departments, K-9 units, fur angels and LifeFlight of Michigan.
