The United Shore Professional Baseball League recently opened the doors to Jimmy John's Field to a group of nearly fifty patients from Beaumont Children's and their families.
These children worked with USPBL players and coaches to learn and practice a range of baseball skills, including batting, pitching and running the bases. The experience also allowed participants to practice athletic, social and team-building skills.
This event was sponsored by Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Children's Miracle Network Hospitals raises more than $4 million to support local Beaumont Children's patients every year in Southeast Michigan.
