Management of balance disorders can involve a variety of specialists and subspecialists depending on the condition causing the disorder. Ear, nose and throat specialists (otolaryngologists) are usually involved, as are neurologists.
Diagnosis of balance disorder begins with a clinical history and physical examination by a physician who is expert in this field. Testing equipment available at Beaumont includes:
